Spooky Friday Post!

It’s Friday the 13th!  And that means…..a spooky accountability post?  I guess?  Here, this will make it spooky:

Dear Lord that is a terrifying doll….On to word count accountability!

The past week saw me with a bout of slow coming words.  I knew where I wanted to go and I knew what needed to happen with my writing but I just could not get the words to form.  I posted on the slow words here.  Luckily it only lasted a couple of days and yesterday saw a strong finish with a word count of 2935 words.  Not the greatest word count-wise but good when dealing with one ice storm and trying to prep for another coming this weekend.

My weekly total for words was 8,436.  That does not include what I’ll be writing today, of course.  I’ll take that over nothing.  I’ll certainly take it considering the two days I wrestled with writing anything at all.

On a slightly different note:  I’m on the home stretch of this WIP.  I will finish it tonight/early tomorrow and I’m super pumped for it.  Not only because the last half of the book didn’t go as quickly as I would have liked and I’d like to throw it in the drawer and forget about it for a couple of months but because I have another WIP ready to start editing.  EDITING!  YAY!  I get to fix the plotholes in the other book that have been nagging me for the last two months now.  Fantastic!
