Revision!

Oh revision!  How you had me worried!  Oh wait…..

That’s a lot of red.  Really the revisions aren’t all that bad.  Most pages look like this:

That’s a lot less red.  I started working on revisions on Monday, even though it was a holiday and that meant the kids were home which also means a lot less time to work.  Even with a shortened work week, I’ve managed to make it all the way through chapter 12 which is well over halfway through the book.  Not too shabby.  I was certain this revision would take weeks to get through.

I guess it helps that I’m putting in 8 – 10 hours a day on it.  That’s a lot of hours and I’m thankful for the Engineer who’s been picking up my slack so that I can work obsessively and get extra work done.  Seriously, the man doesn’t get enough credit for what he does.

But my brain is fried and trying to write coherently for even just the blog is hard right now. And it’s Friday night.  Go out and enjoy it if you can and happy writing.
