Release!

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been nine days since the release of Bramble and Blood! The release went well considering the fact that I went about it all wrong.

But book is slowly gaining an audience and that is an awesome feeling. I’ve been a bundle of nerves so far thinking no one would be reading the book at all and that it was a horrible mistake to release it out into the world. But I’m glad I did. The book has even gotten two 5-star ratings!!! That’s not too shabby!

I’ve spent less time this past week working on the finishing steps of book two than I should have, but it has been a whirlwind of learning these past nine days. I’ve been tweaking and modifying Bramble and Blood’s listing so that it is showing up in the correct searches and categories. It’s been a lot of trial and error but I’m slowly learning.

But I did do some work on book two even though I’ve been preoccupied. I finished taking all of the beta notes into consideration. The cover was also completed! I’m going to do a cover reveal at some point but not just yet since the first book is still riding its wave of new release. I think the cover looks beautiful if I do say so myself and I can’t wait to show it off! It of course features Eve in all of her glory.

But I’ve spent enough time ruminating on what’s gone on this past week and it’s time to set my sights on what needs to come next.
