Friday Updates and Book Covers
My first week back to work since having my brace off has flown by! My arm isn’t done healing but it’s getting there. I have x-rays again in two more weeks. The only problem is I think some nerves in my hand and wrist are messed up and all the typing seems to be exacerbating the issue of numbness and tingling. It feels like the outside of my left hand (thumb side) is asleep most of the time. It’s really annoying, but at least my thumb is working like it’s supposed to so I’m not too worried about it.
I was worried about getting back into my rhythm but writing has gone better than expected this week. Book 3 is coming along at a very good pace so far and I’m excited to see where this story is going to go.
Something else that’s new this week: I’m testing out a new cover on the books. There’s been some concern that the original covers weren’t true to genre so I’ve popped some new covers on the books for the next couple of weeks to see what it does to sales.
Cover Comparison
Personally I love the original cover, but in the end, I have to put my personal feelings aside and use what’s best for getting the book out there and in readers’ hands.
Well, this post is long enough and I need to get my work day started. I’ve got a book to write.
