    Release Day!

Birdsong and Bone is out! Oh my goodness! I can’t believe book 2 is out in the world today! It’s been a trying month this last month but it paid off in the end. My arm is on the mend, book 2 is out, and now I can focus on book 3 a little more. I’ll be candid right now – the rough draft for book 3 was supposed to be done by the end of this month. That’s not going to happen and I’m frankly having a horrible bit of anxiety over it. I can get about thirty minutes of typing in before my hand cramps horribly from my…

April Camp Nano and Other Happenings

Oh geez.  It’s been a while since I last posted.  Between finishing up initial revisions to get my book ready for beta readers and everyday life, there hasn’t been much to report.  But I suppose I should do a post just so it appears I’m not dead.  Besides, I need to document that I’ve been busy these last couple of months. I guess it helps that I’m putting in 8 –…

    Rough Draft Complete!

The rough draft is done! After working all day and writing approximately 6000 words I finally finished my rough draft last night.  Just in time too since I set a goal of beginning to edit my already finished rough draft for this month.  But for a few hours, I think I can just sit back and relax knowing that I worked through enough plot problems to at least finish a rough draft.

    Coaxing the Words Out

It’s the first full week back to work for me and I was so ready to be back.  I intended to write a post filled with links and advice on how to get back into the swing of things after a break.  But after my own dismal attempts last week and this weekend to add anything to my current WIP – I gave up on that.
