    Friday Updates and Book Covers

    My first week back to work since having my brace off has flown by! My arm isn’t done healing but it’s getting there. I have x-rays again in two more weeks. The only problem is I think some nerves in my hand and wrist are messed up and all the typing seems to be exacerbating the issue of numbness and tingling. It feels like the outside of my left hand (thumb side) is asleep most of the time. It’s really annoying, but at least my thumb is working like it’s supposed to so I’m not too worried about it.     Release Day!

    Birdsong and Bone is out! Oh my goodness! I can’t believe book 2 is out in the world today! It’s been a trying month this last month but it paid off in the end. My arm is on the mend, book 2 is out, and now I can focus on book 3 a little more. I’ll be candid right now – the rough draft for book 3 was supposed to be done by the end of this month.     Post Nanowrimo

    Oh boy!  It’s been a little over a week since the end of Nano and it’s been quiet on my end.  I’d like to think the month was a big success this year even with the stress of being sick not once last month but twice.  That coupled with Thanksgiving was enough to put a dent in my word count.  But I ended November victorious!  61,396 words!  That is a new personal record.
