April Camp Nano and Other Happenings
Oh geez. It’s been a while since I last posted. Between finishing up initial revisions to get my book ready for beta readers and everyday life, there hasn’t been much to report. But I suppose I should do a post just so it appears I’m not dead. Besides, I need to document that I’ve been busy these last couple of months. First up, revisions! Revision!
Oh revision! How you had me worried! Oh wait….. That’s a lot of red. Really the revisions aren’t all that bad. Most pages look like this: That’s a lot less red. I enjoy the Twitter writing games but they aren’t as important as finishing the rewrite. I do miss the interaction with other people but there’s always time for that later. I’ve been withdrawing more and more in the afternoons and evenings to work…

Rough Draft Complete!
The rough draft is done! After working all day and writing approximately 6000 words I finally finished my rough draft last night. Just in time too since I set a goal of beginning to edit my already finished rough draft for this month. But for a few hours, I think I can just sit back and relax knowing that I worked through enough plot problems to at least finish a rough draft.

Accountability
Accountability Friday but on a Saturday! Sorry about that. Friday was a hectic day that ended with me playing nursemaid and being generally exhausted. A good chunk of the evening was spent watching episode of the Office before I even got to work on my book.
